Upon completion of this accelerated Yoga Teacher training program, I will integrate the skills and techniques I use into my teaching practice and offer them to the larger Prince of Wales island school community. My teaching philosophy is grounded in dignity and centers on supporting the spirit of learning in my students, and part of honoring that spirit means teaching my students honor and care for themselves. The yoga skills and social-emotional learning techniques they learn will help them breathe through life's challenges and changes, and to move with easeful confidence in the direction of their dreams. When students have the emotional resilience to persist through challenges, they begin to understand their own strengths, and that is my highest goal.
