My students attend a Magnet School that is in a low economic area. Our students get free breakfast and 90% of them are on a free or reduced lunch. This could be the only "well rounded" meal they get. Some travel on buses as far as 30 miles away. But one thing I can say is that most of the children LOVE coming to school. They are excited and eager to learn and forget about their troubles. We have a Saturday camp twice a month. When I drive home, I can see some of them walking down the sidewalk on main roads to get back to their houses. The students at this school are dedicated to getting the best education they can!
