Reading is such an essential part of acquiring a language and growing academically. I believe that The Little Prince is a captivating and relevant story that will allow students to forget they're even reading in their second language. I always tell students that if they don't like reading, then they just haven't found the right book yet. With this project, I'm trying to bring "the right book" to many of my students and allow them to fall in love with this story just as I did. Given the lower level of the text, I believe this will be a great learning tool for many of my Newcomer English Language Learners.

About my class
