Interactive notebooks are used to help children stay organized and engaged. These notebooks give our students the space to work independently and exercise their imagination while feeling secure in their answers and the privacy of a journal. Students need a safe and encouraging space to express themself. The notebooks will be used daily as a space for students to complete work, write journal entries, share their thoughts and feelings, and practice self-expression and social-emotional learning. The notebooks give students a designated space for their work. This keeps them organized and lowers the chance of lost work. Composition books are more durable compared to regular notebooks. This is important when the notebook is being transported back and forth between home and school to ensure the notebook stays intact and neat.
