The materials that I am requesting will be given to each student in the brand new art program at our underserved local middle school. Our school has not had any fine arts classes in over a decade and I am so excited to lead this brand new program into success! I will be coordinating the fine arts department starting in the 2021-2022 school year and will be teaching the art program myself. If my request is funded, each student will receive a drawing pad that they can use daily, take around campus, and create observation art in. Each student will also receive a canvas that they will use to create beautiful works of art for the local art show! We have some extremely talented students who just need the materials and support to flourish and fine-tune their talents. My students and I appreciate any support that we are lucky enough to come by and who knows, maybe your donation will help further the education of the next Picasso or da Vinci!
