Our school is a Title I school and only ten years old. Resources are limited and team sports end up sharing with other classes in the building. Many times basketballs and other equipment are shared in order for the classes to have enough resources so everyone can participate. Team basketballs will help the athletes practice and prepare for games while the backpacks will help the players store and transport uniforms for away games. I am asking for your help in funding these needs to help our athletes. Being on a school sports team is special and helps foster life lessons about responsibility, humility, work ethic, and unselfishness. Even with limited resources, we have been successful in basketball while preparing student-athletes for college and life after high school. We have had a 100% graduation rate and four of our players have earned athletic/collegiate scholarships to play at the next level. We have won three district tournaments, one sub-state game, and made an appearance in the state tournament.
