In a climate where poverty holds students back from achieving their full potential, I believe it's important to teach them more than academics. Students need to be challenged daily. Using critical thinking skills and collaborating with others is crucial to their success in the classroom as well as in the real world. Breakout rooms provide these skills and so much more. These games immerse students in a combination of both physical and digital puzzles that must be completed in a certain amount of time. Students will build both social and emotional skills while solving complex problems relating to the core curriculum. Help my students become escape artists and unlock the love of learning. Breakout rooms will boost engagement and get the students out of their seats all while being taught instructional lessons. Most of all, it will make learning fun.
