These Kindle Fires will be used in the classroom to further the students learning and engagement. Kindle Fire tablets would be a great asset for my students. Having a set of 5 Kindle Fires would allow my students to use them one on one. Games and apps make learning to read come alive for students. We would also be able to access the apps that go along with our Literacy and Math programs. Not only would my students be practicing the curriculum but they will also gain experience using the technology that is now part of our everyday lives. I am a new teacher at a fairly new school and the school does not have the money to get each classroom a set of Chromebooks to meet the students where they are at. Having Kindle Fires will help keep the students on track while we prepare to get Chromebooks.
