The wonderful thing about a sketchbook is that you always have an art studio with you. This is an invaluable tool for students to explore their thoughts through their artwork. It is all about growing and cultivating a consistent flow. It’s about freedom of thoughts and not an end product – it is always a work in progress. Students will have a sense of ownership by using a bound book, instead of loose papers floating about. Keeping a sketchbook helps your ideas grow and helps you develop new ones. It allows us to make random connections and juxtapose ideas. Sketchbooks enhance creativity!
