As we see more ESL students and families relocate to our region, there is a real shortage of dual language speakers available to help those families connect meaningfully. Those who have children with special needs are even more in need as they must navigate all of the Special Education processes for their child and the entire IEP process. I plan to use these materials to gain better communication skills with our Spanish speaking families. Helping them navigate Special Education and improve our ability to provide needed supports to those families.

About my class
