The Ghent rails will allow me to switch out items from the students. As other teachers, administrators, parents, and guests move through the classroom, they are able to give feedback which has resulted in students developing a sense of accomplishment. This year has been challenging as restrictions have limited the movement between classes. But the little feedback received, impacted one generally lower performing student to move from D grades to C grades in two classes. He has found a new purpose in education and a change in attitude. Between August and now, he has gone from not expecting any future to solid plans for a career as a welder. I am wanting to use the ability to change out the projects to encourage more students to have a positive outlook.
