Do you remember having to sit in a classroom in hard chairs and where every desk was in a straight line? I want to change this scenario for my students. I want to create an environment of anticipation and excitement. I want my students to come into my classroom each day with joy and looking forward to pleasant surroundings. I want my students to be able to choose a comfortable and enjoyable seat to do their work. I believe that an attractive and appealing setting will support engagement and ultimately student learning.
