These materials that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where they will go. I just need your help in getting them through the door! The numbered carpet squares will be placed in the front of the classroom and used as a gathering place during whole group instruction and center time. This will allow for each student to have their own personal space and help keep their focus on learning. The wobble chairs will be used during small group to help keep the students focused and ready to learn. The donations to this project will help to improve their focus and become less distracted by what's going on around them. By implementing these flexible seating options it will give my students a chance to have a break from sitting in a normal chair. We will use these materials to aide us in the process of becoming life-long learners. As the teacher, I have done extensive reading on flexible seating and the positive impacts it has on students. Yet I truly need your help and support to make this dream become a reality. Thanks!
