I presently have 6 iPads in my classroom that help several of my students who have cell phones with limited or no internet access. I have requested two Chromebooks to enable me to better implement class assignments and assessments, especially for writing. One of the biggest problems I have presently is having students use their cell phones and have very little control over the students doing inappropriate activities on their phones. Understanding that district budgets may limit the number of devices, I would like to request whatever increase the budget can allow. Of note, the Utah DLI Director stated to me a couple weeks ago that all other districts have classroom sets for the Bridge Chinese classes.
