In 1st grade, students are expected to write a complete sentence, independently, by the end of the school year. This task is very difficult for most students. A lot of times, writing is very frustrating to these young learners. I want to provide a colorful inviting space that will allow for creativity and positivity. I want my students to WANT to go to the writing center. This deluxe writing center has room for 4 students to write at the same time, which is great for collaboration. It will provides plenty of items that will trigger their creativity such as the stencils and the stamps. Students will also be provided fun writing materials such as fun pens, pencils and super bright GEL crayons. This center will help these youngsters feel motivated about writing.
