I run an extra-curricular creative writing group for high school students who want to participate in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) in November of each year. The program provides great support for the month but does not continue for the whole year. Students enjoy writing during the event but feel overwhelmed about trying to continue a writing habit without guidance. "The Teen Writer's Guide" and other resources will help them feel grounded during the rest of the year and give them a road map to follow on their writing adventure. With a full set of books, we can continue to work as a group all year and support each other while finding valuable advice about writing.

About my class
