I am wanting to add popular series books into my classroom: Cam Jansen, Magic Tree House, Boxcar Children are amongst the many titles I have picked out. These book series will help create a print-rich classroom. The books are popular series amongst second grade readers. These books allow students to be actively engaged in a series with the hope that students will want to continue reading. Students will continue to develop themselves as avid readers as they enjoy these popular books! Students will be able to utilize these books both in the classroom and at home. Students will self-select books of interest, and then have the opportunity to read during class, as well as take the books home to continue to read.

About my class
