When students are able to hold, touch and see the anatomy of what we are learning it makes it easier to imagine the injury. It is essential for students to then be able to apply it to a living subject! I would also utilize these models to teach athletes who have been injured about what they actually injured. Once an athlete can see what they injured, they are much more involved and compliant with treatment and rehabilitation! LASA is such a dynamic school where teaching and learning is an enjoyable experience. I love when my students can make a correct diagnosis of an athletic injury.
