To be successful during the 2020 Health Crisis, our school exhausted our technology resources to make sure every child went home with a Chromebook. Walking out those school doors to begin virtual learning at home was a hard hurtle for all to overcome. Many of our students do not have stable home lives, so keeping them connected to their school communities and a sense of normalcy was vital. Our administration is letting families keep school computers over the summer for continued summer learning opportunities. To make sure we have technology in the classroom, my goal is to have 5 Chromebooks available so that we may continue using the enrichment of digital platforms in the classroom during our small groups and centers. Project-Based Learning opportunities will be possible as well with this digital support. My students deserve a classroom with the upmost learning opportunities presented to them and I greatly appreciate any contributions you can make towards making this a reality for them!
