With your gift, I will be able to replace very old, almost-end-of-life scientific calculators and use molecular modeling more effectively to help students conceptualize difficult chemistry concepts. Many of my students must use the scientific calculators we provide to do their work in class. They aren't always able to provide their own. Molecular modeling kits will allow students SEE molecules and how those atoms come together to form bonds. Chemistry is difficult because it is the science of the unseeable. Anything that will help students visualize these concepts is a WINNER in my book.
