Having a new shredder, replacing our old shredder, brings a job task back to our classroom. Without a shredder, my students have lost a very important task. For some students, this is the only task they can perform independently. Shredding papers for the building staff allows my students to learn and perform a job task. Equally important, the jobs performed in my copy shop classroom promote feelings of pride and worthiness in my students. Many students enjoy the task of shredding and will miss the ability to execute this task.

About my class
