These materials will be a wonderful addition to our Virtual Learning Platform. These interactive high interest learning materials most definitely will increase my students engagement. Most importantly these materials will expose them to print rich graphics and informative texts that inspire children to visit places beyond their homes. Traveling allows us all to enjoy things, places, and events beyond our own cities. Working for the past twenty three years as an urban educator, it is my goal every year to make sure my students make new discoveries. Our current global pandemic has forced us to adjust our lifestyles to ensure that we all stay safe. So now more than ever, exposing my little scholarly learners to unlimited reading resources and building home digital libraries is critical to ensure that the love for Reading never dies. I’ve also worked closely with Scholastic Warehouses to purchase books, magazines, posters, writing journals , and all kinds of fun reading related materials that promote high students engagement. Lastly, the current challenges presented with this COVID 19 pandemic, has unfortunately cancelled my students options to attend the annual school “Book Fair” which will not occur again this year. In the meantime, these materials offer tons of fun facts , activities, and place we will travel to in our MINDS . So, Ready , Set , Let’s Go Travel!
