Quality art materials inspire student artists to create their best work. When students can open a brand new sharpie, they know that they are valued as learners and that their art and creations are valued. I'm the kind of art teacher that believes even the youngest student artists should be able to use nice art supplies like liquid watercolor, no fade colored paper, and sharpies. Art materials will be used primarily in classroom for in person learning, while art materials will be sent home in packets for virtual learners. Having quality art materials helps students value their creations and gives them motivation to explore a range of art media, and the drive to see what they can do with it.
