I am requesting snacks and water for the most awesome graduation picnic ever! Our students have dreamed of their 5th grade graduation since stepping foot into our incredible school. Sadly, COVID-19 created a different kind of world for all of them. Many students in this community lost loved ones and experienced heartbreak from so many factors. Navigating online learning, missing out on important events, not experiencing social life and having tumultuous domestic situations has taken a toll on so many of these kids. Let’s bring some light to them, honor their hard work and make this fifth grade graduation “concrete” picnic as awesome as possible for them with the best send off in Bushwick!
