Flexible seating will allow my students the opportunity to move their bodies to enhance their engagement in our daily learning. My students love to move, and providing them with FlexSpace Wobble Cushions will allow for movement to improve their attentiveness. These cushions are lightweight and can be easily moved to various places in our room. They can be used during mealtime, circle time, reading time, independent work, small group, etc. Allowing children to choose where to use these cushions will enable them to be in charge of their seating. At this moment, my students love sitting on the carpet, laying on their bellies, and using our lap trays to complete daily activities. By providing them with another seating option, their engagement will increase.
