My goal is to create a happy, calming, and safe space that welcomes my kids in! My students often bring anxious minds and hearts into my classroom from what they cannot control in their lives. I want our classroom to be an exciting place that they look forward to coming into each day and has all they need to be successful! I want to have a class pet to bring comfort and responsibility, soft lighting materials to help create a sense of calmness, and necessary supplies to help equip them to have a peaceful environment in my classroom! My students will care for our bunny by feeding, cleaning, and maintaining its habitat. My goal is to teach them the value of ownership as our pet calms anxiety and relieves stress and trauma that is brought into our classroom.
