Sometimes basic needs must be met before a child can really learn. Helping the student meet the basic need of clothing can bring them confidence to try to learn more. With the right tools and supplies, students are able to begin the creation of apparel that will not only meet a basic need, but boost their confidence to achieve. Scissors and sharp pencils are among the tools needed to construct and draft clothing patterns and designs that will be used to create new clothing or alter existing clothing that students can wear.

About my class
