LEGO's have always been a staple in my classroom as they are something my students enjoy and it helps them with their fine motor skills. My students sometimes have a hard time regulating and being able to explain their emotions. This LEGO set has the best of both worlds as it gives students the opportunity to build emotions in order to learn about them and gain a better understanding. By donating to our project, you will not only be helping to improve fine motor skills, you will ultimately help with learning the important life skills of regulating and understanding emotions. By using the LEGO set students will be able to have a hands on look at what the emotions really are and mean. There is also a set of magazines that will help my students learn about current events while at home and back in the classroom.
