We incubate and hatch chicken eggs every year in pre-kindergarten. The items listed will be used to enhance this activity and help the children visualize the actual process of development from egg to chicken. The egg candlelight will allow the students to see which eggs are fertile and which are not and also let them see the progress that each egg is making. The Chick Life Cycle set will give the children an actual model of exactly what the eggs look like on each of the 21 days of incubation. The thermometer will help us regulate the temperature and the books will help explain the process to the kids.
