Our school has switched to flexible seating in every classroom. There is a need for children to be able to move to engage in their best learning style. They need tables to set the supplies on to work. The students are able to sit up straight and improve core strength, while maintaining good posture for fine motor skills. The students can move them easily to a place in the room that is comfortable for them to work. When you are comfortable, you are able to do your best. The students are able to select a space where they can hear, see, and focus. Sometimes students need to find a peaceful spot to gather their thoughts and calm their brain. These easily moved desks provide the ability to do just that! They are able to get into flexible groups and use critical thinking skills.
