These materials will help the students to stay organized and know where everything is. Desks are too small. Many of my students do not have basic school supplies like, pencil boxes, folders, or backpacks to organize classwork. Having designated spaces for their classroom items will give them a sense of belonging and a safe place to be in. If needed, students can take their things home and continue learning there as well. My goal will be to prepare my 4th graders for middle school, to be responsible and organized students.
