Many of my students are gifted learners who have never seen programing or coding using computer software. They are unfamiliar of how coding can help resolve everyday issues in their daily lives. The coding spheres allows my students to learn how robotics can help our daily lives. It builds critical thinkers and challenges my students to think outside the box. The different coding games will allow my students to grow an interest in computer science and robotics. My school is a Title I that does not offer any robotics classes to our gifted learners. As a teacher, I believe that it is important that we advocate to our students the importance from robotics and how this can help many fields in science such as medicine and engineering. My students will be thrilled to learn that they will have a robotics club that I will be teaching after school so they can develop an interest science. This will enhance student's motivation in the classroom, and school. My project will help many students for years to come.
