I try to have equity in access for all my students when it comes to reading, but this year in a hybrid teaching model, it has been difficult to make sure my remote learning students have books in hand. If I could give my 100% remote learners immediate access to the books we are reading in English class on loaner Kindles, it would allow me to meet their educational goals and improve their learning experience. A Kindle PaperWhite in hand is worth worlds of wonders in e-books.
