The school purchased covers for student communication tablets; however, they are not sturdy enough. With the slightest drop, the screens get cracked, and students lose access to their most preferred communication option. Replacing a tablet is also a costly and lengthy process. The best solution are sturdy covers which will allow students to use communication tablets outside of the classroom and throughout all areas of the school. They will be able to take them to the track and to the cafeteria and on special outings in to the community. Students deserve to have access to their devices without the assistance of staff to keep the devices safe outside of the classroom.
