The books I am asking for will be added to our reading corner. The reading corner allows for a safe place for my students to dive into a great book and deepen their skills as a reader. I have a class full of readers that are constantly asking for more books and wanting to take time to read. I want to continue to grow a classroom where reading is something they wish to do and not something they are made to do. By donating to my project you will be providing not only great books, but a chance for my students to grow their reading skills. After such an uncertain school year I want my students to have the chance to complete hands on experiments to deepen their knowledge of the standards they have learned. The science kits will be used throughout our units for review. To take what they have learned and push further to become their own scientists in my room. By providing my class with these projects you will be opening the minds of my students and giving them the chance to put their skills into action.
