The materials I have chosen will be used to engage the diverse student learners I have in my classroom. I use many learning strategies to engage my students in math, writing and reading. On Fridays, I use games to encourage learning by incorporating reading and math skills into the games. My students love playing games, it help builds social skills, and they are excited to participate with their peers in a safe setting. My students do not have many resources at home, so by having a laminator I can make games to go home to play with their family and multiplication charts and flash cards to help practice important math skills (3-M.1).
