My class is an ESL/GT classroom, and my students have a passion for reading. While my classroom is self-contained, we do regular rotations among the grade level. Due to these rotations, all of the fifth grade students have time in my classroom, and can benefit from a book nook. Students will also be allowed to bring the books home to finish before bringing them back for others to read. My goal is to create a space where students can feel safe and comfortable while getting lost in a book that they love! I would love to create a space full of books that are as diverse as my students. In my classroom, it is important that all students and cultures are represented and valued.
