Our copies of The Outsiders, by author S. E. Hinton, are tattered and torn. I do not have enough for all students in one class. I usually need at least 30 copies. This classic novel, by S. E. Hinton, remains a favorite tradition at our school. This will help me next year and future teachers. Students who are absent, or will be absent, need copies of the text for home reading. Students who attend class need to follow along as we are reading together or if they reading independently. Students love this novel!
