At JHHS we are lucky enough to have a room designated to dance classes and the dance team. Since we don't have a permanently installed dance flooring we have to replace the Marley flooring and the subflooring mats that go under the Marley to help the students dance comfortably and to prevent future injuries. The dance room has tile and the subfloor is placed over and then the Marley is taped on top. We all know dancers can dance on any floor but constant jumps on hard surfaces can cause future damage or injuries. This replacement will help preserve our students' bodies and allow them to have long dancer careers as well if they choose to do so.
