We are on a journey to become lifelong readers! We love to read in our classroom but noticed that our reading stamina was not as high as it could be. During a classroom discussion, we talked about how important interesting and engaging books are for building our reading stamina. We are pumped to continue our journey to become lifelong learners, but feel that our classroom library is lacking in books that engage and excite us. One of our goals in first grade is to find our love for reading, this is where you can help us succeed! With this letter, our class wants you to know how much they appreciate your help in our journey to become lifelong readers! Dear Readers, We have been learning about keeping our reading stamina up and one way to do that is by finding books we like! We might need new books for that. We love reading! We have been working REALLY hard on our reading. That's why we need your help! We brainstormed books we would really enjoy! We're hoping to learn about history, snoopy, Pokemon, animals, Kate DiCamillo, and MORE! So can you help us get more books for our reading community? Sincerely, Our Class
