I want to bring awareness to the importance of health being linked in academic success. I’m a school nurse in a high poverty area deep in south Texas right by the Mexican border. A lot of my kids here have curiosity in the topic of health and I highly believe these resources will help them better visualize and understand and maybe even open doors to future doctors or nurses. I want to be able to provide good quality care as well as educate the children about their health in the process. Help me give my students knowledge and understanding about the importance of health and a fridge to hold insulin and snacks for my diabetic students which is extremely important for their treatment.
