Students will learn about the important steps to gardening and helping plants grow. They will learn to problem solve, get their hands dirty, work as a team, and be responsible for clean up. It will be a lesson in taking responsibility and practicing patience. We are currently doing a unit about seeds, the planting process, and the parts of different flowers and plants. They are excited to use the hand tools and learn what they are for. They will get to do all of this in the fresh air and sunshine to improve learning opportunities outside of the classroom!
