My students love to read! Even though they do not read on grade level, they try their best to read what is available. One issue that is apparent is that our classroom is full of books that my students can not see themselves reading. Living in a minority-majority area, I see how this hurts my students every day. The idea behind this project is to have my students excited about the books in our classroom! I feel like if I can bring books that my students can look at and see themselves, they will want to read more and more!
