In our recent unprecedented times, some students who are enrolled in courses such as Digital Imaging have been given an impossible task. They were asked to remain at home, many times with only their school issued laptop and no access to internet. Academic struggles paired with social isolation have made this year so very difficult for students. They have added stress when they do not have the tools they need to complete their work. In this very low socioeconomic area, students seem to get slighted and not have the best tools for learning despite how hard teachers and staff work to offer them the best. These iPads will help me give them so many more opportunities to create and shine and show their true potential. They would be offered the opportunity to check out these devices and take them home to complete work.
