I run a book club at my Title I school. The club has been operating for 6 years, and unfortunately, I have a difficult time providing my students with all of the books they need. We compete against other Broward County Middle Schools each Spring in a Battle of the Books competition. Our team has come in 2nd place for 4 out of the 5 years. I know that if I could get these books in the kids hands from the beginning of the school year, we could finally get that 1st place finish! Once the Battle is over, the books will be distributed throughout the school, reaching all of our students.

About my class
