When it comes to attendance and participation in my classroom, I like to offer weekly rewards for my students. These rewards help my students come excited to class. Students in my class work together in a small group and these rewards, even though they are small, helps boost participation and motivates them to show up to group on time. Reading at this age can be difficult but when they work together in a smaller group they feel more comfortable and are also more willing to discuss texts. Please consider donating!
