Comfortable creative seating allows students to take charge of their art making by allowing students to choose a space that works best for their artistic discovery. During independent art times students can choose a different location in the art room that is better for collaborating with another student or for creating independently. Currently my students are only able to sit at a table or a rug on the floor. With movable seats students can find additional seating locations to create in the art room that would be more comfortable. Allowing students to have choice with their seating, allows for a greater creative environment. The product I have selected will help my students by giving them another effective learning space. The soft butterfly stools are light and easily movable to different areas of the art room. The stools can be combined to fit next to one another to create a larger stool area if needed, for older students and for close collaborating with another artist. These stools will be extremely beneficial during choice base art and independent creating times. I know by adding more seating it will enhance the environment and will produce more engaged creating in the art room.
