The use of resistance training bands (also called strength training) affords our athletes the benefits of resistance to muscular contraction to build the strength, anaerobic endurance and size of skeletal muscles. If we can do resistance training repeatedly and consistently, our athletes' muscles become stronger. It also allows for training to be conducted in both an indoors and outdoors, which comes in very handy when we are challenged with inclement weather and a lack of space from sharing areas like the training room and weight room with the other teams that are currently in season.

About my class
