My new classroom has zero books. I am a first-year first-grade teacher hoping to get my future students a classroom library! My hope is that my classroom library will be a place in my classroom where students can go to get immersed in the reading process. Get lost in a good book. It is imperative that first graders get a fair shot at learning to read. We cannot achieve this goal without books! The books I'm trying to get will be able to reach each student by level. This fosters reading independence and overall love for reading.
