Each of our classrooms has a "calm down corner" where children can go to regulate their emotions when they are feeling sad, mad, frustrated, or upset. In the "calm down corner" the children need materials that are soft and comforting to help them calm down. However, with current COVID regulations in place, we have had to move a lot of fabric-covered items out of our classrooms for the purpose of reducing the spread of germs. We are looking for easily cleanable, yet soft pieces of furniture to supplement our calm down corners. The furniture requested in this project will give our young children a safe place to practice important social emotional skills that are crucial for early childhood. We appreciate your support in our classrooms!
